FCII Celebrates new ministry partners

Faith Carriers International is genuinely excited to celebrate the blessing of a new addition to the ministry. Welcome Pastor Anthony & Sis. Barbara Brown, official Ministry Team Members of FCII.

Anthony's journey began in 1982 when he was called by the Lord, two years after he had moved to Southern California for his undergraduate degree. His baptism in Jesus' Name at a District Council meeting of the PAW and the filling of the Holy Ghost a week later marked the beginning of his unwavering service in ministry. Over 32 years, Anthony dedicated himself to various roles at Bethany Community Church of Long Beach/Praise Temple Church of Long Beach, including Sunday School Superintendent, Minister of Music, Youth Leader, Deacon, and Executive Elder, demonstrating his deep commitment to ministry and community service.

In 2010, Anthony was anointed with the gift of healing and led a monthly Miracle Healing and Deliverance service, witnessing many miracles. That same year, the Lord gave him a recipe for anointing oil, which he prepares over 18 months, praying and fasting regularly. This oil, named "Point of Contact" by Bishop Bruce Riley, has been a beacon of hope, instrumental in numerous healings, and a powerful testament to the impact of faith in healing.

In 2016,  Anthony and Barbara joined Shield of Faith Pomona, serving as Married Couple Sunday School teachers and prayer line warriors. Anthony is passionate about mission work and has ministered in Tanzania, Kenya, Congo, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. He served on the board of Shield Charities International, which completed the Pillars of Hope Orphanage in Kisii, Kenya, in 2023, providing a home and education for orphans.

Professionally, Anthony retired from Riverside University Health System and has over 35 years of counseling experience, a testament to his deep understanding and commitment to helping others. He is also an accomplished professional musician, having toured the world as a drummer for over 30 years with various artists.

In June 2024, the Lord led Anthony and his wife, Barbara, to join and serve under Faith Carriers International Ministries with Pastor Nate & Dr. Brinetta Staples. 

Barbara was called by the Lord in 1978. She was baptized in Jesus' Name and received the Holy Ghost at Greater Bethany Community Church, where Bishop R.W. McMurry was the Senior Pastor. For 19 years, Barbara served faithfully in ministry at Greater Bethany, participating in the choir and the Usher Board.

Upon joining Praise Temple Apostolic Church of Long Beach in 1997, Barbara immediately became a key figure in the prayer ministry. Her leadership was instrumental in transforming the 8 am Sunday morning prayer into a powerful worship service, a role she shared with her husband. Barbara also served as the Women's Sunday School teacher and assisted her husband as an altar worker during the monthly Miracle Healing and Deliverance services, witnessing many supernatural moves of God.

In 2016, Barbara and her husband began serving at Shield of Faith Church of Pomona, led by Apostle Henry Alexander. They initiated the 8 am prayer and were deeply involved in the prayer ministry. Barbara faithfully assisted her husband in teaching the Married Couples Sunday School class.

Barbara's dedication to ministry extended beyond local communities to the mission field. She ministered in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, demonstrating her commitment to serving others both locally and internationally.

Professionally, Barbara has had an impressive career in the banking industry, dedicating over 30 years to the field. Her skills and experience have significantly contributed to her professional journey, mirroring her dedication and service in ministry.

In June 2024, She and her husband, Pastor Anthony Brown, were led by the Lord to join Faith Carriers International Ministries. With God’s grace, they look forward to serving with Pastor Nate & Dr. Brinetta Staples for many years.
